What a Year: A Look Back at the Restaurants that Opened, Closed and Made News

Written By Scott Joseph On January 2, 2018

What to Look for in 2018
New Disney Springs restaurants: Just opened: The Edison, Maria & Enzo’s, Enzo’s Hideaway, and Pizza Ponte; Wine Bar George, from George Miliotes; Terralina, replacing Portobello; Jaleo, from José Andrés; Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill.

A slower lane for food trucks? An over saturation of mobile meal providers and a reduction in quality may signal an end to what was once Orlando’s biggest trend.

More microbreweries — Although they require a substantial investment, breweries apparently recoup. Expect more.

And watch for these reviews in the coming weeks:
The Glass Knife
El Buda
Kadence
Peter’s Chinese Kitchen
Peppino’s Pizza
Four Rebels Tacos
