Vanbarry’s Opens South of Downtown

Written By Scott Joseph On April 14, 2014

vanbarry logoVanbarry’s Public House officially opened Sunday at 4120 S. Orange Ave. in the space that most recently was Tommy Addison’s. The new business is from the owners of Finnhenry’s in downtown Orlando and Ollie’s Public House in College Park. In fact, the Vanbarry’s Facebook refers to the new restaurant and bar as the offspring of the other two. The name, apparently, stems from that of owner Caitlin Barry Van Voorhis.

I can’t tell you much about what Vanbarry’s will have to offer, but if you know Ollie’s and Finnhenry’s you probably have a good idea. The new restaurant doesn’t have a website yet, is seems, and the number on the Facebook page is being answered by Finnhenry’s. The phone number on Vanbarry’s Urbanspoon listing is answered by a bewildered sounding man who has not heard of the restaurant.

More to come.
