Here’s a cool way to spend a hot August night. Taverna Opa, one of our favorite Greek restaurants, is hosting Tastings & Libations, the last in its summer dinner series, Thursday, August 21 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The cost is only $45 per person plus tax and gratuity. 

Chef Katerina Coumbaros has put together a five-course tasting menu to complement Greek wines provided by the Republic National Distributing Company. If your only experience with Greek wine is retsina, you really need to expand your wine knowledge. It’s a great way to say antio to summer. Reservations are essential.
