Supper Club at Chuan Lu Garden with Special Guest Host Ricky Ly of Tasty Chomps

We’re about to make it hotter!

Chuan Lu Garden has been getting critical raves for its authentic Sichuan cuisine (here’s a link to my critical rave). But if you’re unfamilar with the food and the traditions of ordering, dinner here can be confusing.

So I’ve invited Ricky Ly of Tasty Chomps to serve as co-host for this very special Supper Club on Thursday, August 15, at 7 p.m.. Ricky speaks Mandarin, and he’ll serve as our guide and translator through what promises to be an exciting and exotic dinner.

Ricky and the folks at Chuan Lu have compiled a tasting menu that will highlight the myriad flavors and spices that characterize dishes of the Sichuan province, including some that feature the Sichuan peppercorn, which is unlike any hot pepper you’ve had before.

Cost for the dinner is $45 per person plus tax ($2.92). Gratuity is included. The price includes soft drinks; alcoholic beverages may be purchased on a separate check.
