November Supper Club at Ritz-Carlton’s New Highball & Harvest


HighballHarvestLogo NoBackground 194x127For the November edition of Scott Joseph’s Supper Club, we’ll convene at the brand spanking new Highball & Harvest at the Ritz-Carlton. Highball & Harvest — H&H to its friends — is the modern Southern restaurant that took the place of Vineyard Grill, and it’s very good. Here’s a link to my recent review of H&H.

Chef Mark Jeffers and his team have put together a special menu for us, and as usual, it’s being offered at a special Supper Club price. The rack rate for the meal with wine pairings would be $162, but H&H is allowing me to offer the dinner at $95 per person plus tax ($100.70). That includes gratuity. And as an added bonus, the Ritz-Carlton will validate your valet parking.

Restaurateurs: Will You Be Open Thanksgiving Day?
    Turkey

None of the pumpkins in my backyard has frost. Nevertheless, it’s time to start compiling the annual list of restaurants that will be open on Thanksgiving Day, which is November 27. According to my calendar, that’s a Thursday.

If your restaurant will be open, send me a note with all the details and I’ll add you to the ever-updating list of T-Day dining. Be sure to include all the details: type of service (buffet or a la carte menu), prices, hours of operation, and anything else you’d like your guests to know. A link to a website with the menu is helpful, too.
