Not Magical, But Venetian Room Offering Special Menu Through October

Written By Scott Joseph On September 17, 2015

VR dining room

The Venetian Room, one of the few remaining truly fine dining venues in Central Florida, is not participating in Magical Dining Month this year.

However, the restaurant is offering its own special menu, shown below, with a seductively low price. And it isn’t just for the month of September; VR’s prix fixe menu is available through October, so you can still eat your little Magical Dining Month heart out this month and make a reservation for Venetian Room next month.

The menu offers three courses with two choices in each category. I think I’d go with the Gazpacho Andaluz, Beef Wellington and the Trio of Creme Brulee. The posh decor and elegant service of the Venetian Room is perfect for Beef Wellington done well (but never well done).

Cost is $49 per person plus tax and gratuity. And in the spirit of MagDinMo, the folks at the Venetian Room are donating a portion of the proceeds to Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida.

The Venetian Room is a AAA Four-Diamond rated restaurant and is always one of my first recommendations for a romantic meal. It’s a classy joint, so wear a jacket, gentlemen.

The Venetian Room is at the Caribe Royale, 8101 World Center Drive, Orlando. Dinner is served Tuesday through Saturday. Reservations, which are highly recommended, can be made through the resort’s website or by calling 407-238-8000.
