Let’s Go to France

Written By Scott Joseph On October 23, 2017

If you’ve been reading me for any length of time, you probably know that I am a frequent visitor to France, especially to Paris. No matter how many times I go, I always find something new and exciting. I enjoy trying new restaurants each time, but there are some that I always make a point to revisit. I’d love to show them to you.

So I’m pleased to announce that I’m partnering with Art in Voyage to co-host, along with chef Kevin Fonzo, a tour of Paris and Lyon in April of 2018.

I’m arranging visits to some of my favorite restaurants, from Michelin-starred fine dining venues to casual cafes, bistros and brasseries.

And we’ll also visit the food markets that France is famous for. That’s where Fonzo comes in. He’ll lead us through the markets to pick up fresh ingredients, then he’ll conduct a hands-on cooking class of classic French recipes.

We’re still putting together the itinerary, and more details will be forthcoming soon. But this is going to be an exclusive excursion with limited availability. To be among the first to be notified when reservations start being accepted, be sure to sign up for notifications at the Art in Voyage site. (You should also be on my e-letter list for first dibs, too.)

Of course, we’ll also have time to see the sights: Notre Dame Cathedral, Sacre-Coeur, the arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysee, the Louvre and Tuileries. And the Eiffel Tower? Well, we’re working on a special surprise for that one.

This is going to be fun, I promise you.

We hope you find our reviews and news articles useful and entertaining. It has always been our goal to assist you in making informed decisions when spending your dining dollars. If we’ve helped you in any way, please consider making a contribution to help us continue our journalism. Thank you.
