A small operator of buffet restaurants in Tampa and Brandon has signed a lease to take over the former Bennigan’s at 7344 W.Colonial Drive, Orlando. The restaurant will be called Orlando Hometown Buffet (the company is not affiliated with Minnesota-based Hometown Buffet). The company signed a five-year lease on the 6,200 square foot space. An October opening is planned. The buffet restaurant will hold 220 patrons, or, if they’re all regulars, presumably fewer.
