We’ve had a flurry of Foodster Award presentations lately. Here are some of the people who accepted their plaques. They represent the best in their categories. And remember, Foodster Awards are for Independent Restaurants — those with three or fewer locations — so be sure to support your local restaurateurs.
Stylianos Xanthoudakis of Greek Corner accepted the Platinum Foodster for Best Greek
Selamawit Woldezghi holds the Platinum Award for Best New Restaurant, Selam Ethiopian & Eritrean Cuisine
Nicole Ramirez and David Ramirez won the Best Dessert Gold Award Foodster for David Ramirez Chocolates
Andrew Tuttle, the general manager of Santiago’s Bodega in Orlando, was presented the Best Happy Hour Gold Foodster Award.
And playing catchup, some previous year’s winners finally received their plaques.
Nora Brookner, owner of Nora’s Sugar Shack, holds the Platinum Foodster for Best Craft Beer Selection.
Dylan Bartley of the newly opened Hourglass Brewing in Orlando’s Curry Ford West district holds the Gold Foodster Award for Best Microbrewery, which was won when the beermakers only had the location in Longwood.
