Special Wine Tasting at Eola Wine Company for SJO Floggers

We’re having a special wine tasting exclusively for readers of Scott Joseph’s Orlando Restaurant Guide at the new downtown location of Eola Wine Compay. We’ll meet on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. at the wine bar, 500 E. Central Blvd., Orlando. The special price to you is $30, which includes tax and gratuity.

Click here to go to the Wine Tasting Reservation Page.

Owner Scott Schrope has put together a tasting of  tasty wines — at least six will be offered — and he will have an array of delicious bites from the kitchen. (One of the nice things about the move to the new location, which is just across the street from the original place, is that there’s a bigger kitchen to do better food.) I’ve asked Scott to be sure to have some of the delicious flatbreads that I had when I visited recently.

This will be a “walkabout” tasting, so you can move about freely and sip and sample to your heart’s content.

Tickets are limited. Please, no more than four per order. As a recipient of this newsletter, you’re getting first notice. But don’t delay; it will be opened to the general public later today, if any tickets remain.

If you’re on my list of newseltter recipients, that means you’re eligible for my drawings. Nothing to buy. No strings attached. Well, other than getting an occasional newsletter. But then those also make you among the first to know about special offers, such as SJO Dining Deals and Supper Clubs. They frequently sell out after the newsletter announcement, before I can put the details out there to Facebook, Twitter and all the others.

If you’re receiving this newsletter because a thoughtful friend forwarded it to you, you can become eligible for the drawings, too, just by clicking the “Join our Mailing List” button at the bottom of the page. It’s really painless, and I only send a newsletter when I have something I think you should know about, so you won’t be bombarded with junk, I promise.

If you’ve been getting the newsletter and you’d rather not, no hard feelings. All you have to do is hit the “unsubscribe” link and we’ll make sure you’re not bothered anymore. But please note, that takes your name off the drawing list for gift certificates and other prizes.

Next drawing is Wednesday, Oct. 17, for $50 gift certificate to Spencer’s for Steaks & Chops
