Here’s some good stuff ahead of Valentine’s Day, which is Friday, just in case you let it slip your mind. And if you did let it slip your mind, I’m here to help you with a really good V-Day gift for your Sweetie.

David Ramirez Chocolates has some new chocolate creations just for Valentine’s Day. Like all of his candies, these are delicious and beautiful as little baubles. The collection includes Strawberry Shortcake, Red Velvet Cheesecake, Passion Fruit (passion, get it?), and fudge brownie. My favorite is the Cherries Jubilee, which I like not only for the fruity flavor but also for the flaming lips shape they’re in. Very cute.

And here’s some good news. Besides the David Ramires chocolate factory in South Orlando, the chocolates are also available at three more central retail locations. You can get them at Le Macaron on Park Avenue in Winter Park and in Altamonte Mall, and they’re also now available at Benjamin French Bakery on Washington Street in Thornton Park. That’s very handy. The selection isn’t as extensive as you’ll find at the shop, which is at 2154 Central Florida Parkway, but there’s enough to put together a pretty impressive array.
