Bullet Point Buffet: Brew, Brewing, Brewed

A demitasse of details.

  • Ivanhoe Park Brewing is set to open — softly, of course; no one opens hardly anymore — June 29 at 1300 Alden Road, Orlando. Orlando mayor Buddy Dyer will untap a keg — or is that unkeg a tap? — at a private event in the afternoon. Mortals are allowed in at 4:30 p.m.
  • Speaking of brewers, the kitchen at Orange County Brewers in downtown Orlando has been overrun by lobsters. (I almost called them by their colloquial name, but that would have been too salacious.) Red Claw Lobster Rolls and Pizza Pies has a lobster laden menu that even includes lobster pizza.
  • À La Cart Street Food and Craft Beer (are you picking up on a theme here?) has name three permanent food trucks for its Milk District Property: PokeKai, Vinny & Kory, Steak it Easy. Sometime in July, which is pretty close.
  • Foxtail Coffee Co. (we’re still talking brewing, technically) is opening its first drive through only location at 805 Lee Road, Orlando. Also July.
  • I got a note from the folks at Rosen Resorts with details about their restaurants’ Magical Dining Month menus. Already? Let’s get through the rest of June, all of July and most of August first.
  • Don’t forget that Bite Night is Monday, June 25. Search Orlando Weekly’s website for ticket info.
  • Is anyone taking bets on when the craft beer fad fizzles?
