Black Rock Bar & Grill Next Up for Windermere Area

Written By Scott Joseph On April 21, 2016

Black Rock logoBlack Rock Bar & Grill, a franchise out of Michigan, is set to open May 3 in the Windermere area. It takes over the space that previously was occupied by Fresh Made Kitchen and Loudmouth Grill, which was originally a Perkins Restaurant & Bakery. (Hope the folks at Black Rock hired an exorcist.)

Black Rock’s gimmick is hot rock cooking on a tabletop stone heated to 755 degrees (bring the kids!). Certified angus beef steaks is featured. Menu items also include burgers and sandwiches, which are not cooked tableside, one assumes.

Black Rock’s first restaurant opened in Hartland, Michigan, in 2010. It currently has three other locations. The Windermere restaurant is the first franchise outside of Michigan, where those 755-degree rocks are probably pretty popular in the Winter months.

Black Rock Bar & Grill’s new address is 8965 Conroy Windermere Road, Orlando. Here’s a link to the website if you’d like to look at the menu.
