The Hangry Bison, the beef and bourbon restaurant in Winter Park and Winter Garden, has been voted Best Burger in our 2023 Foodster Awards for Independent Restaurants. It is a previous winner of the award, as is the Tap Room at Dubsdread, which earned the second highest number of votes.
The Whiskey and Johnny’s Fillin’ Station tied for third place.
Some of the comments from Hangry Bison’s voters included:

Oddly enough, “Bangin” was also a response from a Tap Room at Dubsdread voter. Other quotes included:

“Their burgers are delicious and unique and they never disappoint!”
“They have the best burgers in the world!”
“Nothing better than a Tap Room juicy HALF pound Burger.”
A fan of The Whiskey wrote “Always cooked right, great bun!” And a Johnny’s voter said, “Like the size because cooked medium on a flat grill is as rare as I will go and they use a high fat ground beef that is loaded with flavor.
