You’ve Got Pink Slip! Barducci’s Staff Reportedly Notified of Restaurant’s Closing Via Text Message

Written By Scott Joseph On July 15, 2013

Well, at least it didn’t include a little frowny-face emoticon.

Barducci’s Italian Bistro in Winter Park closed its doors last week. But instead of calling a staff meeting to give the bad news that they would soon be out of a job, owner Gregory Kennedy supposedly sent text messages to about a dozen workers that read, “I unfortunately need to inform you that I have been forced to close Barducci’s effective immediately.” The full story was reported by WFTV.

What do you think? What would be your response to getting fired via text message? Leave a comment below.
