Winedos, the new local online wine retailer, will host a wine tasting and book presentation with Estela Lecea, winemaker at Bodegas Lecea in Rioja. The event is Tues., Aug, 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Winter Park Collective, 959 W. Fairbanks Ave. Tickets, which may be purchased here, are $50. The evening will include a jazz quartet and organic pizza.
Lecea will lead a tasting of three wines from her winery and talk about her book, Parabola Para, which chronicles her yearlong experience as an exchange winemaker in Casablanca Valley, Chile.
Ivan del Barco, owner of Winedos, and Enrique del Barco, its academic director, will host the evening. Seating is limited and reservations are required.
