Vietnamese Planned for Former Medina’s Space

Written By Scott Joseph On October 16, 2013

Bungalower is reporting that Medina’s Grocery, the Cuban restaurant and Latin market on the corner of Bumby Avenue and Washington Street, will be the new home of Pho K5, a Vietnamese eatery that previously had a place on West Colonial Drive.

Medina’s was a long-time staple in the area and only closed when the owners — that would be the Medinas — decided to retire. The Pho K5 people are currently making changes to the interior but they tell Bungalower’s Matt Sokoloff that they are hoping for a November 1 opening. So I’m guessing it will be sometime after the first of the year.

Medina’s, or Pho K5, faces Bumby Avenue but the address oddly is 2405 E. Washington St., Orlando.
