Today’s most amusing note comes from, well, just about every news sector out there, including this one from NPR: Kraft has announced there may be shoratge in Velveeta, a substance often referred to as “cheez like.”
There is no good explanation from the company — I’m guessing it has something to do with the availability of petroleum — but Kraft says it may correlate to the demand of the product during bowl games.
My favorite line from the spokeswoman quoted in the article: “we have not heard many complaints from consumers so far.”
