Taste of Thornton Park is Thursday

Written By Scott Joseph On October 16, 2014

TasteThorntonA Taste of Thornton Park, the annual food-centric gathering in downtown Orlando’s popular neighborhood, is tonight, Thursday, Oct. 16, from 6:30 to 9:30. If you hurry, you can still buy a $30 ticket at Publix in the Paramount condo building on Central Boulevard before noon. Otherwise the fee is $40 at the gate.

The organization’s website doesn’t offer any specific names, but promises that all of the neighborhood merchants participate with food, wine and cocktails for attendees to sample. So you can probably count on places like Graffiti Junktion, Dexter’s, Wildside, Cityfish and the new Soco to show up. And there just might be some “outsiders” with something to offer.

It all takes place at the corner of Washington Street and Hyer Avenue.

Proceeds go to the neighborhood’s improvement projects.

H/T Brandon Zeiders for info on the Publix.
