Here’s something you may not know about Visit Orlando’ Magical Dining, the annual restaurant promotion going on now: not every restaurant is eligible to participate.
Many don’t make the cut because their price point is already so low, their menu prices already so reasonable, that creating a three-course menu for $40 would be stretching it.
That’s the case with Tabla, the Indian restaurant in Orlando, Winter Park, Oviedo and Lake Nona. So owner Nora Jain decided that Tabla would make its own magic, so to speak, by offering a special FOUR course menu for $30, which she is cheekily calling Tabla’s Magical Feast Menu.
It includes a chef’s special soup; an appetizer of vegetable samosa, aloo tikki chaat or chicken Manchurian; entree choice of butter chicken, paneer tikka masala or vegetable korma, with rice and garlic naan; and a dessert of gulab jamub brûlée. That’s a lot of food for 30 bucks.
Tabla’s Magical Feast Menu will be available through September. And here’s something else that’s different from Magical Dining – the Tabla prix fixe menu is also available at lunch.
