But then there’s the news that The Chef’s Table at the Edgewater Hotel in Winter Garden has expanded and is now serving lunch as well as dinner. Actually, it’s not a conventional expansion where you knock out a wall and add some space. The Flavours of Europe Deli that was across the hall from the Chef’s Table dining room closed, and owner Kevin and Laurie Tarter grabbed it because it had something their restaurant didn’t: a walk-in cooler. The extra storage space will allow them to do some catering as well as serve the noontime meal. And, in the evenings, the new space can be used as a private dining room for up to 30 people.
