Lakeside dining once again

After several years of sitting empty — with a couple of false starts — the former Lee’s Lakeside is a restaurant once again. Well, part of it is. Pesca has opened in the refurbished space that uses only a part of the vast space that was Lee’s for ages.

Pesca is a seafood restaurant from Manny Tato, who also owns Spice Modern Steakhouse a couple of doors away.

Pesca is at 431 E. Central Blvd., Orlando. Phone 407-843-6650, or visit the Web site.

Oh, and I hear that Tato is interested in taking over the three closed restaurant and bar spaces in the Sanctuary condominiums, the former Graze, Sanctuary Diner and the Beacon. Yes, all three. Note to Mr. Tato’s family and friends: is it time for an intervention?
