Scott’s Giving Stuff Away

Written By Scott Joseph On March 20, 2018

Gift Cards

Weekly drawing House ad.001It’s the return of the weekly giveaway!

From now until further notice, I will conduct a weekly drawing for a gift card to a local restaurant.

This week’s drawing, to be held Friday, March 23, will be for a $50 gift card to Pharmacy at the Dellagio Town Center on Restaurant Row.

As with all our drawings, the winner will be selected from among the recipients of my weekly e-letter — if you’re already on my list, you’re already entered for the drawings. If you’re not, it’s really simple. Just text SJO to 66866 on your smart device. I’ll text you back saying I got your text, you send me your address and that’s it.

(I think this is where I’m supposed to tell you that normal texting rates may apply, but you’re smarter than your device and you probably knew that already.)

The winner is chosen using a random number generator with a range based on the number of subscribers at the time of the drawing. The number generated is matched with the subscriber number on the list. I send you an email telling you you’ve won; you shout “hot dang”; you let me know where I can mail the gift card; I slap a stamp on it and send it to you; you take it to the restaurant and dine.

Why is the winner chosen from my e-letter list? It’s my way of saying thank you for being a subscriber.

Of course, you may unsubscribe from the e-letter at any time, our feelings won’t be hurt. We may talk about losing you with our therapist and fret over what we might have done wrong, but we’ll get over it. Eventually.

Remember, just text SJO to 66866. Or if you’re worried about that texting rate, click this link to sign up online.
