Sara K. Clarke is reporting in the Orlando Sentinel today that Paddy Murphy’s, the Irish bar and restaurant in Baldwin Park, is closing after this weekend. Back in April, when Lago closed, I reported that other businesses, including Paddy Murphy’s, were also expected to shut down. But the eatery, a popular venue for local bands, kept going. Until now. Perhaps not wanting to deal with leftover stock, the restaurant, according to Clarke, is offering free beer and reduced costs for food all weekend.
