Marlow’s Tavern Coming to Pointe Orlando in October

Written By Scott Joseph On August 27, 2012

Marlows Tavern Logo copyMarlow’s Tavern, a neighborhood pub with locations mainly in Georgia, will open its first Florida site at Pointe Orlando in October. Former Darden executive Alan Palmieri will oversee the opening of the Orlando location and any future Central Florida expansion.

Marlow’s menu, developed by cofounder John C. Metz, features “classic dishes that are updated to a gourmet level,” according to a press release. The Georgia menus feature shrimp and grits and Atlantic salmon, plus burgers, sandwiches and wraps. The beverage menu promises a large selection of wines by the glass and handcrafted cocktails.

Here’s a link to the Marlow’s Tavern website if you want to take a look for yourself.

I’ll have more when it gets closer to opening.
