It’s National Chocolate Day; what did you get me?

This seems like as good a day as any to show you the beautiful and tasty fall treats from flog favorite David Ramirez Chocolates. Though they look like jewelry or tiny tchotchkes, the candies are actually little bombs of chocolatey wonderfulness.

And for the autumn, Ramirez has created some flavors to evoke the season, such as apple pie, caramel apple, cranberry cheesecake, and Dutch apple pie. There are also pumpkin latte and pumpkin cheesecake chocolates. 

And although Oct. 28 is National Chocolate Day, Oct. 31 is, well, you know — the biggest candy day of the year. I’m not suggesting you grab some David Ramirez masterpieces to throw into the bags of visiting trick or treaters — that would be a bit too dear. But you may want to have some on hand to treat the grownups at your costume party. They might especially appreciate the Jack Daniels ganache.
