I was just about to send out a little notice about our Supper Club tomorrow evening at Siro: Urban Italian Kitchen at the Orlando Marriott World Center when I learned a little bit of news: Alexia Gawlak has been hired as the new chef for Siro.
Many of you know Gawlak from her work with the Ravenous Pig and Cask & Larder, and with her husband, Rhys, through their Cuts & Craft Artisan Meats business making wonderful charcuterie.
Gawlak doesn’t officially start in the new position until Monday but she’s coming in a couple of days early just to be at Supper Club.
Which brings me around to the original reason I was writing to you: I was going over the seating arrangements with the folks at Siro and we determined that we have room for five more people.
