It’s time again for the annual Food & Wine Festival at Baldwin Park, a benefit for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Central Florida. This is always a well-organized event, and it attracts some terrific culinary talent (see below for a list of this year’s participants).
The event is Saturday, March 10, from 6 to 9 p.m. on New Broad Street in Baldwin Park’s village center. Tickets are $65 donation in advance or $75 at the door and can be purchased by clicking the link to the Food & Wine Festival at Baldwin Park website.
There’s also something new this year: the CF Lounge, which will offer a separate area to relax and enjoy the food, including an exclusive menu from Stonewood Grill, and entertainment from jazz guitarist Marc-E. Cost of the CF Lounge is $100 per person.
Other entertainment includes the BB King All-Star Band, and if you’ve ever heard this nine-piece group at the Pointe Orlando BB King’s, you know they are terrific. I predict dancing in the streets of Baldwin Park this Saturday.
I may do some dancing myself. I’ll be there along with Mayor Buddy Dyer, commissioner Robert Stuart, Mike Boslet, Heather McPherson and Scott Richardson to judge the food competition.
It’s going to be a tough competition. Just look at the list of participants:
