Finesse is Closed

Written By Scott Joseph On April 6, 2012

Finesse, the very good restaurant in  Lake Mary, has closed after a 14-month run. The restaurant officially ended service on March 29.

Co-owner Alex Brugger told me that he had to close when an investor backed out and he was left underfunded.

Brugger and his wife and co-owner, Autumn McCoy, built a following for the upscale and creative cuisine, but that wasn’t enough to sustain it.

“Would I do anything different?” Brugger asked. “I’d do a million things different.” But he also said, “I’ll do it again.”

Finesse was in the group of shops and restaurants, which includes FishBones, at 7025 County Road 46A, Lake Mary.
