This is going to be an amazing foodie event. Eight of Walt Disney World’s top culinears have been tapped to prepare the inaugural Edible Orlando Field to Feast Dinner, Sunday, October 27, from 4 to 7 p.m. in a fundariser for the Kid’s Cafe Program of Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. The list of chefs includes Scott Hunnel, Victoria & Albert’s; Biran Piasecki, California Grill; Tim Keating, Flying Fish Cafe; Phillip Ponitcelli, Citricos; Frank Brough, The Wave; Jens Dahlman, Epcot International Food & Wine Festival; Leonard Thomson, Disney Events; and Stefan Reimer, Disney Desserts.
They’re all certainly outstanding in their field, and on October 27 they’ll be out standing in a field at Long & Scott Farms in Zellwood for this very special dinner. Tickets are $175 per person or $325 a couple and go on sale Thursday morning at 8 a.m. They can be purchased only at Edible Orlando. Only 125 tickets are available, so they won’t last long.
Kid’s Cafe is an after school program that provides nutritious meals to children from low-income families.
