Dubsdread Catering, which has been operating as the interim caterer for the Highland Manor property in Apopka for the past year, has announced that it will expand that relationship to become building manager for the historic property. The deal was signed last week with the City of Apopka and will be in effect through 2015.
“We will be operating the building itself and handling all event booking and catering,” said Dubsdread Catering’s Steve Gunter. “We already have a large book of business going forward and are enjoying being a part of that beautiful property.”
Gunter also announced that his company will be taking over event management duties at the Verandah of Thornton Park and will cater the property’s wedding business. “We have plans to cater that property out of our kitchen at Dubsdread and are expanding for the room to do so,” said Gunter.
Dubsdread Catering also operates the Historic Dubsdread property, which is owned by the City of Orlando, and owns the Taproom at Dubsdread at that golf course property.
