ORLANDO, Fla. (April 27, 2022) – Spoil mom with a special treat this Mother’s Day during brunch and dinner at Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar in Orlando (located in Pointe Orlando at 9101 International Drive) on Sunday, May 8 starting with delicious food and drink specials curated with moms in mind. Moms will be handed a rose on this special occasion and treated to a $25 gift certificate (valid for a return visit, restrictions apply).
Moms will surely love the new brunch menu specials available on her special day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $21 each. These dishes include the new Brunch Paella comprised of crispy boneless chicken thigh, chistorra sausage, Kurobuta bacon lardons, kale poached egg and saffron long grain rice with Serrano ham, roasted piquillo pepper salad and garlic allioli; organic quinoa waffle with Piloncillo-soaked fresh bananas, whipped cream and chocolate shavings drizzled with dark rum-molasses syrup; French toast a la Cubana with vanilla custard-soaked brioche bread, maple syrup and panela-soaked sweet plantains topped with whipped cream; crab cake Benedict croquetas with lump crabmeat and potato cakes, poached egg, avocado mash and tomato Hollandaise sauce; Churrasco burger with a 12-ounce triple patty, Meyer Natural Angus skirt steak, chipotle-onion marmalade, provolone cheese, lettuce and tomato between King’s Hawaiian roll with a side of Boniato chips and house made pickles (add bacon for $3).
Additionally, a la carte dinner menu (and new dinner items) will be available all day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Mother’s Day including Malanga Fritters which is a traditional Cuban street food of crispy taro, garlic and West Indies culantro ($10.75); Bistec Empanizado a delicious plantain breaded Palomilla steak, served with Congri and tostones Hawaianos and pickled okra ($28.50); Masitas de Puerco Fritas comprising of tender morsels of pork, slowly roasted in Spanish style sauce, sautéed onions mojo served with white rice, black beans and tostones ($24.50).
Mother’s Day drink specials will include a light, refreshing and spritzy “Berry Special Lady Spritzer” with Ciroc Red Berry, lime juice, agave, bitters, raspberry purée, strawberry purée, and a splash of sprite ($13).
