Master sommelier John Blazon has a new column for you just in time for the holiday weekend. Sure, Memorial Day is all about beer and vodka drinks in the blender. Well, it’s actually about a lot more than that, but we seem to lose our way with holidays like this. Anyway, John is suggesting something different in the way of wine for your barbecues and picnics. He’s offering a primer on the oft-maligned blush wines. He explains why they have a bad name (Mr. Lancer, Mr. Mateus, are you listening?) and will point you toward some higher quality rose-colored wines that may change your opinion. To get to John’s column, click on the slightly blushing text at the end of this sentence.
