Beaujolais Nouveau Release Party with Prickly Pear and SJO Events

Written By Scott Joseph On November 10, 2011

Join SJO Events and FMI Restaurant Group on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, the official release date of the 2011 Beaujolais Nouveau. Prickly Pear and Nick’s Italian Kitchen will be hosting a fun party that includes food, entertainment and a glass of Joseph Drouhin Beaujolais Nouveau. Regular price is $25 but I’m offering it in conjunction with FMI Restaurant Group for $12 per person.

As you know, Beaujolais Nouveau is the first taste of the French wine region’s vintage and its release is strictly controlled by French law. It cannot be sold until the third Thursday in November. So the official release date is always a cause for celebration. The FMI folks (Funky Monkey, Bananas Diner, Prickly Pear and Nick’s Italian Kitchen) have put together a fun night of food, entertainment and a glass of Nouveau!

The party will be at Prickly Pear and Nick’s, 100 S. Eola Drive, Orlando, on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, beginning at 7 p.m. and continuing on until midnight (at least!). So you can stop by after Supper Club – that’s what I’m going to do.
