Area’s Second BurgerFi Opens in Altamonte Springs

Written By Scott Joseph On May 12, 2014

Adino, the local franchisee for the BurgerFi chain, has opened its second location, this one in Altamonte Springs. The area’s first is on Park Avenue in Winter Park.

According to a press release about the newest burgery, BurgerFi occupies the “old People’s Bank building in the Oak Grove Shoppes,” which I assume means the former People’s Bank building, because I like to think that all banks are open to anyone regardless of age. Apparently the vault is being used for storage.

BurgerFi is what I classify as the middle category of burgerdom. They’re a bit more ambitious than, say, a McDonald’s but not as gourmet as what you’d find in a Fleming’s. Service is fast-casual: order at a counter then take a seat and wait for your order to be delivered.

The newest BurgerFi — also apparently the largest, in case you’re keeping score — is at 1001 N. State Road 434, Altamonte Springs, in front of the Fresh Market store.
