A Taste of Thornton Park Tonight

Written By Scott Joseph On October 18, 2012

Thornton Park is the place to be this evening for the annual Taste of Thornton Park. Thankfully, they don’t mean that literally — the tastes will actually come from restaurants and not real estate.

And it isn’t even restricted to restaurants in Thornton Park, though there certainly are some tasty ones there.

HUE, Hawkers, Cityfish, Dexter’s, Maxine’s on Shine, and Prickly Pear are just a few of the participants slated for the fundraiser. You can see a full list at the thorntonpark.org website.

If you hurry to the Publix on Central Boulevard (the one on the ground floor of the Paramount condos) before noon today, you can still purchase tickets for $30. At the gate they’ll be $40, cash only.

The event begins tonight, Thursday, Oct. 18, at 6 and runs until 9 p.m. The action will take place around the fountain at the corner of Washington Street and Hyer Avenue.{jcomments on}
