The new restaurant will feature the most popular menu items from both K’s more upscale, creative American cuisine and Nonna’s traditional Italian fare. It will be open daily, including Sunday brunch.
The merger will require some renovation of the Nonna space, which was originally a house -- and a small house at that. Nonna features seating in what was the home’s living and dining rooms as well as on enclosed and open-air porches.
No word on what the new entity will be called or what role Fonzo’s brother Greg, who is currently the chef at Nonna, will play in the combined restaurants.
More later.
